This (5.5" x 9" x 9") mixed media installation was composed of welded metal scraps, a found plush bear, and a harsh directional light.
Titled Home—referencing the question “何以为家?” (What defines a home?) and the saying “心安处是家” (Home is where the heart feels at peace)—the piece examines the fragile and often contradictory nature of comfort. By juxtaposing softness and threat, warmth and unease, it invites viewers to reflect on the spaces we associate with belonging, care, and emotional security.
